43 yo MD w/ own office, specialist in Urology.
I'm learning perl because:
- I like it
- German Healthcare lacks a standard in information interchange. Perl appears to me as the way to concatenate this information which is basically clinical patient data into databases for evaluation. The final divine goal of this is quality-based patient care.
My professional background is pure medicine, but I have been with computers since the 80's (yeah ZX-81) and with Linux since the 90's.
