Whilst you're learning:
- LinkedIn (hosts/exploits/however-you-want-to-describe it) a Perl Mongers (without any apostrophe) area. Among other approaches, your friend big G will find it for you.
- Learning to use your friend effectively is a tangential but valuable addition to whatever Perl-skill-level you develop.
- Even a cursory stroll through the Monastery should persuade you that the gardeners here do, in fact, take really good care of the rose bushes, firefighter-type catch'em nets, and other aids for the newcomer.
And, utterly offtopic, did anyone else notice that LinkedIn also presents itself (in the logotype at the top of the first page found by my search) as "Linkedin©" (with a lower-case "i" and the whole word "in" in white on a blue bg? :-)>
