in reply to Some assistance with splitting variables

Seems like you're just interested in stuff of the form:

(\w+)=<(.*?)>

So something like this should help:

while (<$log>) { my $info; $info{$1}= $2 while (/(\w+)=<(.*?)>/g); }

s$$([},&%#}/&/]+}%&{})*;#$&&s&&$^X.($'^"%]=\&(|?*{%
+.+=%;.#_}\&"^"-+%*).}%:##%}={~=~:.")&e&&s""`$''`"e

[Lady_Aleena]: I wish I could have helped you further but I've never uploaded to cpan or metacpan so I don't know much.
[Lady_Aleena]: If metacpan had a pod checker too, I could check a pod I wrote with a module link there.
