use v5.12;
versus
use strict;
is not much reduced typing ;-)
(I know it gives more than just strict)

    use v5.12; is less typing than use v5.10; use strict; though.

    package Cow { use Moo; has name => (is => 'lazy', default => sub { 'Mooington' }) } say Cow->new->name
