dallen16 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question: So... yesterday I thought I'd write a simple script (AS Perl v5.14 on Win7) using Tkx... instead of Tk. All seems good and even got Tktable to work reasonably well. Though I still haven't figured out the right stuff to set a tag, like -wrap, on an individual cell. But... I just can't figure out how to invoke busy / unbusy -- or if they even exist in Tkx. In Tk, it's simply...
But these don't work in Tkx and I can't find the equivalent. In the Tk v8.6 doc's, there's a reference to the tk busy command... but nothing in the v8.5 doc's. Or what am I missing? And should I be investing time in some other multi-platform user interface package with Perl? Many thanks in advance...
