in reply to XML parsing with XML::Rules

Your problem area appears to be missing

$parser->parse_chunk($summary)
Adding that to the mix:
my $summary = $quake->get("summary"); print $summary; $parser->parse_chunk($summary); while ( $summary = read_chunk_of_data() ) { $parser->parse_chunk($summary); } my $data = $parser->last_chunk(); my $dd = $data->get("dd"); print $dd, "\n";
