Try debugging with this:
#!/usr/bin/perl BEGIN { sub DEBUG { use strict; use warnings; $ENV{'PERLDOCDEBUG'} = 1; } eval { &DEBUG; if ($@) { die "WHAT? Couldn't eval..."; } }; } use strict; use warnings; use Pod::Perldoc; Pod::Perldoc->run();

Note: run as
perl perldoc
