in thread DBD::Mysql not working properly in mac OS X

I come across a blog http://probably.co.uk/problems-installing-dbdmysql-on-os-x-snow-leopard.html
where it hoghlight the error as the library libmysqlclient.18.dylib not able to find the path and i copied the file libmysqlclient.18.dylib from /usr/local/mysql-5.6.14-osx10.7-x86_64/lib/ to /usr/lib and it just worked.
Thanks everyone for the support and the suggestion.
