Installing a make utility and C compiler on 32-bit Windows mingw/dmake combination Installing a make utility and C compiler on 64-bit Windows visualc++/nmake after "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Platform SDK\SetEnv.Cmd" /XP64 /RETAIL activeperl is compiled with nmake by default, if you install mingw/dmake you can use dmake if you install visualc++/platformsdk you can use nmake
