Are you wanting/needing an editor or an IDE?

ActiveState's Komodo Editor is free, but their Komodo IDE is a paid product. You can check their feature comparison chart to see what the difference is between the two.

It sounds like you downloaded the Komodo IDE trial version. The only legal way to continue using it after the trial period is over is to purchase it.

I want IDE tool for Perl.Is there any free IDE tool for Perl scripting..please let me know

I see that there's a "Non-commercial Use" clause in the licensing.
I don't know if it's free for non-commercial use (but I suspect it *would* be free). And I don't know whether you qualify for such a license.
Those are things you might like to check with ActiveState.

Here's the actual clause to which I'm referring:
c.Non-commercial Use. If your License Key authorizes Non-commercial Us +e, you may use the software in a teaching or learning environment onl +y. You are not permitted to sell, lease, distribute, transfer, sublic +ense, or otherwise dispose of the Software, in whole or in part, for +any form of actual or potential commercial gain or consideration.
    Cheers,
    Rob
      Rob thanks! =)

Some friends in the edu sector will be pleased to here about that.

      Cheers Rolf
