in thread how to access elements in perl

folks like that, should just provide solutions, even if it takes hours "learning" the jargon just to decipher the problem?

If you do not understand the question, by all means, ask for specific clarifications, but don't fall back on generic, garner-a-little-XP, stock responses.

More to the point, if you don't understand the question, accept that someone else might. Wait a while and see. If no one else responds in an apparently knowledgeable manner, *then* ask your questions. But don't take the high ground that, if you do not understand the formulation of the question, that nobody else could.
