Nice example. Though that is somewhat different in as much as the all the threads -- system, user, programs, drivers everything -- ran in the context of a single shared memory space. In effect, the entire single-user OS +everything that it ran was a single, multi-threaded process. With the rise and rise of 'Social' network sites: 'Computers are making people easier to use everyday'
