Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi Michael, First of all thank you for creating Sybperl. I have come to reply on it quite a bit. On the topic of Sybperl compilation with FreeDTS libraries, I am moving a legacy set of Perl scripts on Solaris connecting to Sybase (with Sybase::DBlib and Sybase::Sybperl) to Windows. The database have already been migrated to MSSQL. I am facing a lots of issues compiling Sybperl with FreeTDS. I have tried active/strawberry and different versions of FreeTDS. I have searched for days and unfortunately have not found confirmation of a successful compilation with the same combination form other posters. Before listing pages of errors here do you know if anyone has successfully recompiled Sybperl in this fashion? Thanks in advance. MC
