It would be interesting to have a few statistics (said the song of the actuary), perhaps in the Best/Worst Nodes pages, that show the last three to five days/weeks/months of posts, so we might see some sort of traffic pattern.
As these stats might be a bit of a drag on the database, I was thinking they could be generated on the same schedule as the Best/Worst Nodes, rather than instantaneously.
I do remember that weekends are quieter than the week, for obvious reasons, and the members of our community are spread around the globe, perhaps mostly centered in Europe and North America. So figuring out 'the last day' would probably translated into 'the last 24 hours'.
