Howdy! I LOVE Perl! I'm glad to be back in a job where I can develop Web applications with Perl.
I love technology as a whole, though, and shy away from anti-M$ bias as much as possible (though I agree that they are monopolistic in their practices), just because they are Microsoft. You cannot beat having such an excellent community, though, with Open Source, Perl, Linux, MySQL/Postgres, Apache and so on.
