Here's one of the tests:
holli@DESKTOP-8VIS2N5:~/perl5/perlbrew/build/perl-5.26.1$ ./perl -Ilib + cpan/IPC-SysV/t/ipcsysv.t 1..39 + # + # It may be that your kernel does not have SysV IPC configured. + # + ok 1 # skip msgget failed: Function not implemented + ok 2 # skip msgget failed: Function not implemented + ok 3 # skip msgget failed: Function not implemented + ok 4 # skip msgget failed: Function not implemented + ok 5 # skip msgget failed: Function not implemented + ok 6 # skip msgget failed: Function not implemented + ok 7 - sem acquire + semctl not implemented at cpan/IPC-SysV/t/ipcsysv.t line 236. + semctl not implemented at cpan/IPC-SysV/t/ipcsysv.t line 345. + END failed--call queue aborted. + # Looks like your test exited with 22 just after 7.
So, yes. Apparently the linux subsystem is lacking SystemV support. Is there maybe a linux package I am missing? The WSL subsystem is just a barebone linux, for instance i had to install a stackexec package in order to get rakudo to compile.
