Good writeup, thanks. It's interesting to note that 44.1kHz == 44100 == 2**2 * 3**2 * 5**2 * 7**2. All those small factors are good for sample rate conversions, reducing interpolation for natural harmonics, and fast Fourier transforms. After Compline,
