Announcement from svpm:
Tuesday, June 4, 7 pm

Speaker: Jeremy Zawodny, Yahoo

Jeremy will talk about using Perl and MySQL in a mission-critical environment. He is one of the early adopters of MySQL replication and also has some interesting ideas on database programming error recovery and encapsulation. Jeremy is also a long-time CPAN author, apparently with a METAR weather module that competes with mine!

I've never met Jeremy, but I noticed his name on Ask Slashdot earlier today. I'll be at the talk on Tuesday, so if you're in the area drop on by and say Hi.
