kidd has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello...

Until a few months ago I noticed the importance of locking your files when you read them or edit them...
So now I always use flock();. But I've been wanting to create my script so they can run either in UNIX and in Windows. At this time when your OS is Windows my scripts doesn't lock the files, and that is dangerous since the file can be opened by several users at the same time...
So I guess my question is..how can achieve something like flock(); for windows? Is there a module? A function I dont know?

Thanks...
