Insane enough to completely recomment the debugger. CPAN modules I'm particularly proud of:

1. Graphviz::Data::Structure, a module that draw pretty pictures of any Perl data structure
2. Devel::Command, a module that lets you write your own debugger commands.
3. Class::AutoPlug, which converts the module of your choice into a pluggable version
4. WWW::Mechanize::Pluggable, a plugin-customizable version of WWW::Mechanize
5. App::SimpleScan, a very easy-to-use Web testing application
