Oh, and your third rule is broken... Do you want YYYY-DD-MM or YYYY-MM-DD? Gak! Exactly where is YYYY-DD-MM a legal date? AFAIK with regards to dates then if it starts with YYYY then it _always_ is in YYYYMMDD (with or without seperators). Or were you just being pedantic about the ambiguity of 'YYYY'?
