Funny, it was the other way around for me. ;-) I went from NEdit, which eased the culture shock of switching from Windows, until I got used to the ropes and started getting into vi. Now I make sure to have g?vim on any box I ever have to work on.

Makeshifts last the longest.

[MidLifeXis]: Weird - my team is receiving a request for information barely related to a project we are on, asking for information already available to the user from a corporate data source, which happens to be the same source we would use.
