in reply to getting output from stored procedures?

Output parameters of stored procedures are sent as a special resultset in the tds stream to the client.

DBD::Sybase and freetds should be able to manage output parameters.

The DBD::Sybase documentation has a good explanation on how to use output parameters of stored procedures.

[erix]: I might if I did remember. It's probably somewhere in the site docs
[uhClem]: I don't favor that sort of thing around here but the place for our politics is wherever we live.
[uhClem]: And besides, the objection to it was off-topic.
