Please show your code. It always helps, when seeing the actual problem. It may be something you've overlooked.

[Veltro]: marto Well, what I mean is that I can remember reading about it somewhere and everyone responding that this could not be done. A while later everyone was proudly showing their app. Look what I can do!
[marto]: some statements are true at the time of writing. Some of these apps that 'determine' what you're playing just sample audio input and pass it to a cloud service for processing, so technically that 'app' isn't doing it.
[Veltro]: marto depends on how you define app. Doing the processing somewhere else, so it is not the same app? I don't think like that anymore.
[Corion]: Yeah, but calling some random cloud service is not really implementing that stuff yourself :) Also, I don't like to litter the world with my personal data, or random bits of recorded audio... Ideally, my computations never leave my network :)
