Suggestion for Voting Booth

Well, I was just thinking that it would be a good idea display the choice of voters in their comment when they put one...

And actually, in my mind it would be a good idea to not let anybody go watch the results without having voted.

Just another 2 cts...

Display the choice might be a good idea. Some people may wish to keep their vote pseudo-private (anyone with shell access to the server could probably figure out what you voted, anyway), so you should be given the option to not display it.

As for seeing the results, I think it's fine the way it is. It's not like PM is running elections for public office, and you should never take the results of on online poll too seriously.

I wanted to explore how Perl's closures can be manipulated, and ended up creating an object system by accident.

Hey! I know you! You're that guy that recommends everyone who doesn't vote be throw in jail or kicked out of the country! Well guess what buddy, if you start doing that you're only going to degrade the entire process. If you really want to do some good, get your country to covert over to the Aussie voting system (if you don't already live there).

As for displaying people's vote, why not leave that up to them? What business is it of yours who they voted for? It'll also result in people not posting comments if they don't want other's to see their votes. If you really want to know, why don't you ask them?

Calm down. Take deep breaths. This is a website, not a country. Here, we don't vote over which idiot will screw up the country next, we vote over who cuts our hair. I'm sure you've noticed that there is a big difference between the two. Now take a valium and lie down for a while.

Was that an airstrike against Gaggio? :))

In these times of war, the best is probably to keep your comments for you my dear.
