New users are often told to look for answers before asking,
and are frequently pointed to existing threads. But a
question may be asked out of an inability to locate the
previous thread rather than a lack of desire to investigate.
Although it is not too hard to find information in
Q&A, looking through Seekers can be difficult, given
the poor descriptions posts often have.
It isn't very obvious to new users that the Super Search
exists to search node content. It may not even be obvious
that the default search isn't this type of search. Making
it clear that this search exists would help people help
themselves.
One place to add it might be at the bottom of the standard
search return for multiple results, near the CPAN search.
Another place could be in the title-bar near the default
search. The Perl Monks FAQ and the Site How To could
make mention of it.
