OT: meeting with tilly

Just wondering if any Los Angeles or San Diego monks want to plan to meet with tilly when he's in town!

If so, whose interested? I believe he's available the week leading up to June 20th...(if I'm wrong.. please correct me tilly!!)

Update: Yes, I did talk to tilly about this... since I don't know whose where.. figured I'd post :) BTW, if this is in the wrong section or whatnot.. feel free to move it.

This note is just to confirm that LD2 did talk with me, and I suggested that she post the above.

In general, given that I have only sporadic network access, it is easier if people figure out where and when it would be convenient for me to be and tell me about it than it is for me to try to be heavily involved in planning. So I will be wandering around coastal CA from late this month through June 20. I intend to go north fairly fast (eg the Silicon Valley PM meeting on June 3), I have some personal stuff a bit farther north than that, and then I will work my way down the coast. I intend to wind up with about a week in the LA area. Other details are non-existent at this time. (So why not invent some? :-)

Update (much later): Limbic~Region pointed out that I had LD2's gender wrong. Yeah, brain fart on my part.

I've corresponded a bit with LD2, and my first thought is The Olde Ship's Santa Ana location for dinner (or weekend lunch). Then we could pretend its a London.pm meeting :-)

Then to decide on a time and date. If the week of the 20th is best, then maybe Wednesday the 18th @ 7pm (or is 7:30 better?). Or a different day? And it seems to me a good idea to post on the (LA/OC/SD).pm mailing lists, which I'll do unless someone thinks of a good reason not to.

Wednesday is good for me. Thursday I probably will have a little last-minute preparing, and I am gone early Friday.

I do not know the area at all, so I have no feedback on where to eat.
