Just like you would any other object... See my example below showing passing a database handle in and out of 2 functions.
my $dbh=bar(); foo($dbh); sub foo{ my $dbh=shift; # do something with the database handle.... } sub bar{ my $dbh=DBI->connect(...... return $dbh; }

[shmem]: you get a file named tags where all symbols and the places where they are used are listed

[shmem]: maybe that supports ctags, check the documentation

[Lady_Aleena]: Right now, I'm trying to decide whether I want to rewrite how variables are entered in the sub I'm working on.
