gathered from yet another perl forum. temperature rally (german, external).

background: a massive heatwave hit europe some weeks ago. the official DWD (Deutscher Wetter Dienst) record is 40,4C, but in a city called perl a temperature of 40,8C was measured. hehe :)

unfortunately, the record was not accepted. :(

    Perl (the town) is located in southern Germany.
    They are producing lots of wine there, wich is often called something with Perl as well.

      For the german perl-workshop 2002, I think they even sponsored some bottles of wine or the like...

      I reckon it might be a good city to live :-))

      Best regards,
      perl -e "s>>*F>e=>y)\*martinF)stronat)=>print,print v8.8.8.32.11.32"

      Perl Wein =)
