We use it exactly like we used to use wall on unix: to alert people of an impending reboot of something or other. ("Exchange server reboot in 5 minutes. Please log off!")

isn't it more efficient network wise to use it to say "The exchange server will be up for 5 minutes, quick read some email before it crashes again!" -- you know less network traffic, fewer popups... =) -Waswas	[reply]
