i forgot to do something impractical, was too busy doing something *completely* practical - buying a house. not done yet but close to it, any my wife is very grateful. she has this idea that owning a house is better than a box of chocolates and some overpriced flowers. well, i guess this is officially the most expensive gift i've ever gotten her, even if it is for both of us :-) --
