Our attempt to flee to safer grounds this morning resulted in a wasted half tank of gas that only got us 1 mile down the Interstate. A normal 4 hour drive to Dallas was reported as taking some evacuees +24 hours. With very little gasoline in the city we realized that we'd soon be destitute and still in the Hurricane's path if we continued on our exodus so we decided to stay behind and try our luck at home.
$_->wish('luck') foreach @evacuee;

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
