Perl 6 changes:
- zip is built in!.
- There is an infix operator for zipping too: ¥.
- The ASCII equivalent, if you can't or won't type ¥, is: Y.
- zip doesn't take references, but multiple lists. These are separated by semicolons (within parens!), or are specified with multiple <== pipes.
- Lists can be initialized with a list of pairs, but fashioned key/value lists still work.
Examples:
my %hash = zip(@keys; @values);
my %hash = zip(<== @keys <== @values);
my %hash = @keys ¥ @values;
my %hash = @keys Y @values;

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
