While the venue of YAPC::EU::2009 has not been announced yet, the future organizers will be using Twitter, Jaiku, and Pownce accounts, in order to help improve the communication with the attendees.

With the next venue being announced at this year's YAPC::EU in Copenhagen (on August 13th), maybe next year organizers will also make the announcement with these accounts in real time (for those not attending the conference).

Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
