deprecated You come off a lot sterner than Ovid. If
you note his writing style, it puts you more at ease. You
tend to rub hair the wrong way and if people don't read
and fully understand your posts, they may --.
One saint you didn't mention was merlyn. You'll note
he has some high rep posts, but none in Best, but one in
Worst. He also writes some of the most short brutal posts
there are.
While technical accuracy counts a lot, emotional ease
tends to count as well. That said, I hope you keep posting
because I learn from your threads.

Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
