Nothing, actually. Burger King went bust in France in the 90's. They made some serious marketing blunders when they started out and never recovered. There is MacDonald's though. They pronounce Big Mac like this: beeg mac, and the brand name MacDonald's tends to be abbreviated to Mac d'oh.

Update: oops, beg your pardon. As I never go into those places, never mind eat the poisonous crap they try to pass off as food, I'm not really familiar with the spelling (they shoulda named it "Big Mc"). My apologies to the Scotch, err, Scottish people :)

Right, except that it's McDonald's. Making that mistake could get you some mighty hurting in Scotland I hear. In any event, there was no use trying to set the Belgians straight, just as with Leevees jeans.

In Pulp Fiction they say the Big Mac in France is called a 'Royale with Cheese'. Now I know that's not French but Pulp Fiction is a good film !
That was a quarter pounder, not a Big Mac.
