Well, I really shouldn't be telling you this . . .

You'll have to engage the special super secret IP cloaking bit. To do this you'll first need to make sure your ethernet cable has a 12 micron coating of unobtanium (not the standard 9.8, mind you). Next you'll have to bypass the fetzer valve in the third jefferies tube (it'll be obvious which one it is, it's labeled "GNDN"). After you do that you'll have reversed the polarity of the neutron flow and your IP address will be completely hidden (well, except for a small ion trail, but they'd have to have installed the stellar survey patch to ethereal to detect that).

    Can't you just use LWP::UserSecretAgent?

    The PerlMonk tr/// Advocate

      That'd work in some cases, but then you might get caught if they're using Blofeld encryption (and they then could use the goldfinger utility to trace it back and you'd have to Expect your process to die).

      There isn't such a thing as LWP::UserSecretAgent

            There isn't such a thing as LWP::UserSecretAgent

        There is... but if I told you where it was I'd have to kill you.

        It wouldn't be very secret if you could find it easily, now would it?

      I'm pretty sure Net::Mossad could do the job though.

      You might also be tempted by Net::Cloak, however, beware that you're liable to be stung by Net::Dagger in that case.

      Just my 2 cents, -gjb-

        is there a difference if i connect to a website with LWP::UserAgent OR if i open a browser and enter that website ?
      Ah, but then, Mr. Phelps, if there were a bug in the code, you'd be fired and your former employers would deny all knowledge of you and your actions. Then your perlmonks account would self-destruct in ten seconds.

    reversed the polarity of the neutron flow

    You must surely mean neutrino flow

      Depends. The neutrino flow in the Jeffries Tube, or the neutron flow in the Unobtanium?

      And I'm not sure how Schroedinger's Cat is going to take the change in the Schwartzian Transform.

        I think everyone is missing the point.. just pass 42 as the first parameter to your constructor and things should be gravy.
