remove "This Node" (from your personal nodelet)

I love the recent improvements to the personal nodelet. This makes it very useful for collecting items for later review when more time is available.

If the current node is already in my personal nodelet, I'd love for the add "This Node" option to become the remove "This Node" option. Since this option is displayed right after looping through all of the entries (in order to display the links to them), it would seem that it could be possible to implement this change quite efficiently.

I wouldn't mind if this only worked for entries that were made by node ID.

Thanks,

=) Yah lazy bum! Leave vroom alone =) (Tho I have to admit now that he points it out it is kinda weird to have Add still lit for a link you already have...)

    Tye,

For myself, I find the mechanism in User Settings pretty easy to live with. You can check the ones you want to pull in a single Submit.

Wouldn't it be easier if the personal nodelet had a small checkbox style thing to remove the page? something like:
[X] One interesting node [X] Another interesting node
and clicking the X will remove it.

Sure that would be nice too. :) In fact, that would solve my other frustration with the personal nodelet: the long titles run together so it is hard to tell where one title ends and the next begins. In fact, I've done /msg tye 12345678901234567< em>45678901234567< /em>5678901234567 to exploit a bug in the chatterbox breaking of long words so that my right-hand column is wider just to reduce this specific problem. Yes, I'm a freak.

My personal nodelet has gotten a bit out of hand, so I'd still like the "remove this" feature I asked for because it clues me in that I've already added this node and saves me from searching through the huge list I've built. No, I don't consider it important.

But if I had to choose between the two, I think I'd vote for fundflow's idea.
