Had the idea, got some confirmation that it was a good one, wrote the patch and got the rejection note!

The "good enough" maybe good enough for the now, and perfection maybe unobtainable, but that should not preclude us from striving for perfection, when time, circumstance or desire allow.

    That's a damned shame. I think "say" would be very handy to have. Did they really reject it because Perl's getting old?
