Oversensitivity to the casing of perl is just an affectation. And like most affectations it serves only to delineate the "cool" crowd from the "uncool".

      I'm not sure why people are making more out of this than I mean.
      Do you have any theories?

      There are basically three potential points of failure for communication: the sender, the medium, and the receiver. It's probably not that the Monastery garbled your posts, so it's either that a number of people suffer from similar reading defects, or that you miscommunicated in some way. Or a combination.
