If i am looking for a perl job and a job description using PERL definitely will get lower priority than the others using Perl and perl. because someone using PERL is less likely into Perl's community and Culture. as a Perl monk, I would rather work into a Perl/perl shop than a PERL shop.

so Perl , perl or PERL matters in this case.
