    Why so complicated?

The perldoc warnings command points to the perllexwarn documentation, which lists the warnings and how to get rid of them.

Simple, aim your browser to the warnings.h file (mine is at /usr/lib/perl/5.8.7/CORE/warnings.h ), then guess the name of the warning from the definitions.

Er, rather than guessing the OP is almost certainly better off looking in the perllexwarn documentation which explains all the categories of warnings.
