The people that argue in favor of spaces based on which editor they use are probably also the ones that bemoan the difference in javascript implementations because they can't just stick with browser that most people use. A good editor makes it so you don't care if they are spaces or tabs. Do you decide how to do things, or do you lt your tools do it for you? Who's the one with the brain? You or the editor?
