Yet another Christian monk...

I finally met another Monk (Limbic~Region)! And it turns out that I knew krusty for a while without even knowing it. Perlmonks is so cool...

In the late Winter of 2004 I got to meet peppiv and his beautiful wife. Really nice folks. I hope to get to go visit them sometime. Check out the pictures of an area near my home on his homenode.

A little about me: I am a fifty-something computer guy living in the mountains of NM. I have about forty years programming experience and about 30 years experience teaching programming and other computer topics like networking and security. My wife is an artist and you can see (and buy!) some of her artwork at the gallery she owns. I like to cook and travel. If you need training on programming, making presentations, creative thinking, etc. /msg me. I am a programmer, but my passion is education.

[shmem]: I see that there is a plugin geany-plugin- codenav
[shmem]: maybe that supports ctags, check the documentation
[Lady_Aleena]: I'd have to talk to a geany person to see.
[Lady_Aleena]: Right now, I'm trying to decide whether I want to rewrite how variables are entered in the sub I'm working on.
[shmem]: wait, what? you want that person to read the documentation for you?
[Lady_Aleena]: I might have to go with options instead of a straight list.
[Discipulus]: if more than 3 go for named variables LA
[Lady_Aleena]: Discipulus, it is at 2 now, but with what I am thinking about, it could go to 3. However, only 1 is needed. The second and third are optional.
[shmem]: straight list or named parameters - that depends on whether (and how many) optional arguments you have
[Discipulus]: if so a plain list is ok, imho
