I support the Nestlé boycott
Coding in perl isn't my job, but I write a lot of tools in perl to help me with my job. This is usually to do with PCB design, VHDL, production-management databases, or serial ports. I usually have to work in Win32, and I tend to use Tk for UI.
If you do design in VHDL, please have a look at Hardware::Vhdl::Automake - it automatically compiles VHDL projects, compiling only the design units that need to be compiled, with an optional preprocessing step. I'm happy to provide direct support for the first few users (but from the lack of interest so far, it seems that there isn't much overlap between Perl and VHDL coders...)
