Cant remember how long I've been programming perl,
my ancient cgi-scripts
were written in 1994.
In September 2001 my book "Easy Perl" was published
by Markt und Technik, it's available as pdf. It's in german, and geared
towards webdesigners who want to learn cgi.
Programming is no longer my main job,
I have been employed full time as a lecturer at the university since 2002.
In the beginning I could still teach perl there (for the web nad for security). Now I've switched to php for beginners and ruby on rails for advanced students. Since 2008 I'm head of the department for 'Web and Communities'.
