in reply to Re^7: What is the format of a .packlist file for a PPM repository?in thread What is the format of a .packlist file for a PPM repository?
Size Issue? I have over 7,000 local '.ppd' files
I know it works with nearly 7,000 from a remote web site with the package files but could there be an issue with reading the files where there is no index?
I have got the command line working:
ppm> rep sync --force --max-ppd 8000 2
Downloading LocalD packlist...done
ppm> s ldap
*** no packages matching 'ldap' found ***
id pkgs name
1 n/a ActiveState Package Repository
2 0 LocalD
3 n/a Dubious
(1 enabled repository)
ppm> rep desc 2
