Hmm, so what nodelet is Tidings noramlly listed in? I have the following:
  1. Approval Nodelet
  2. Node Status
  3. Free Nodelet
  4. Sections
  5. Tick tock
  6. Chatterbox
  7. Voting Booth
  8. Personal Nodelet
  9. Find Nodes
  10. Information
  11. Leftovers
  12. Settings Nodelet

. . . and I don't see a link to Tidings in any of them. Maybe it should be added to the Information nodelet (or Leftovers)? [ I already added it to my free nodelet but I'm wondering if others are unware of it. ]

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

It is the last link in the navigation header (labeled "What's New"). It is also in the Information nodelet with a similar label.

Ahh, I see. You linked to "Tidings" but the "What's New" links uses the Node ID and I was just eyeballing for recently visited links. Thanks!

It's in the Information nodelet as "What's New at PerlMonks" (or "What's New at PerlMonks*" if you haven't read it since it was last changed). It's also in the main menu as "What's New".

Is there a way to duplicate the '*' behaviour if I add Tidings to my Personal Nodelet?

      I humbly seek wisdom.

    It's in the Cabalist's Nodelet.

90% of every Perl application is already written.
