This is very good advice, and I should probably take a closer look at the linux kernel coding standards even though I'm not particularly interested in C or kernel internals at the moment.

[Corion]: 1nickt: Oh - indeed! HTTP::Tiny is somewhat closer to WWW::Mechanize than I thought, thank you!
[Corion]: Discipulus: Yes, but it seems to have handling in place to tell a cookie jar to extract cookies from responses and add them to other requests, which is what's needed
