If you really want a strict version:
use strict; my @a = (5 .. 10); print $a['Infinity'], "\n", $a['-Infinity'], "\n"; print $a['Infinity'], "\n", $a['-Infinity'], "\n"; print 0+"Infinity" . "\n"; print 0+"-Infinity" . "\n";
You still get:
10
5
10
5
inf
-inf
